Two complete, two more in the works:
My second book, Daughter of York, is in the bookstores -- I'm thrilled to see it on the shelves! And it's being translated into German - Wunderbar!
I've been signed for two more books with Touchstone Books, a division of Simon & Schuster. Book #3 is currently slated for publication in Spring 2009, and book #4 in Fall 2010. All are set in the same general period. Details forthcoming. |

Book launch tour - The initial tour, Winter/Spring 2008, is now complete. Thanks to all of you who came out to hear me talk about Margaret of York!
If you are relatively near my home in the north-of-Boston area, I would be happy to come and speak to book clubs. Just write to me at: anne@anneeastersmith.com
I enjoy meeting readers and speaking at conferences, bookstores, and libraries, as long as it is compatible with my writing, research, and travel schedule. Please schedule through Simon & Schuster Publicist Kelly.Bowen@Simonandschuster.com, telephone 212-698-1296.
Correction for Daughter of York:
Do to an oversight on my part, there is a glaring error in the Plantagenet genealogy chart, which was pointed out to me by a diligent reader—many thanks!
On the top line are the sons of Edward III, including John of Gaunt. Unfortunately, there is a branch line stemming down to John’s first wife Blanche of Lancaster, so it looks as though he married his sister! If you have some white-out, you might like to eliminate that offending line, so you aren’t confused half-way through the book.
In a less important spot, you might like to know that Henry VII (or Henry of Richmond, or Henry Tudor) was born in 1457. I am sure it was a Freudian slip to make him an old man early! In future editions of Daughter of York, these errors will be corrected, and I apologize for any misunderstanding.
